Corporate wellness programs

Healthy employees = healthy companies. Employees that are in good health experience less sick time, take fewer disability days and are more productive. According to the Centers for Disease Control more than 75% of employers’ health care costs and productivity losses are related to employee lifestyle choices. A $1 investment in wellness programs saves $3 in health care costs according to the Council of America.

The work site is the ideal place for a wellness program since employees spend more than half of their waking hours at work. Vita offers corporate wellness programs for companies big and small. We start with a survey to assess the employees’ desires and needs. With a minimum of 25 employees, we start with a HRA (Health Risk Assessment) for each employee and design their personal health plan according to their risk score. These scores are used to determine the overall behavioral risk category (high, medium or low). We keep track of every individual with periodic reports on their progress.

In addition to the wellness programs, there’s the possibility of adding seminars (p.e. about nutrition and exercise) at an additional cost. This addition is optional and will be adapted to the needs and preferences of the employees. These seminars can include employees not participating in the wellness program. The company can also choose to give incentives to participating employees. This will stimulate participation and adherence to the program.

Corporate wellness days

As a jump start for the corporate wellness programs we offer the corporate wellness days where your employees get a day program consisting of a full body analysis, fitness activities, interactive workshops, a healthy lunch and at the end of the day a healthy cocktail and snacks.
